Morning of April 3, 2006, we travelled by a rented van going to Batangas City. It was a Team Building of Alorica’s Team Resty Gateway Account.

We made a reservation and paid for PhP1500/head for an overnight stay at Verde Island Resort.
Verde Island Resort is an island resort located at Sitio Subukin, Barangay San Antonio, Isla Verde, Batangas City.

When we reached Tabangao Docking Area, Ms. Cathy, the Verde Island representative, welcome us and told us to wait for the boat to fetch us going to Verde Island. While waiting, we stayed one of the cottages nearby and played poker. After several minutes, the boat came and let us in for a ride. Our travel time took 1.5hrs.

When we arrived, the resort personnel were waiting for us at Comida de Pastor, the main restaurant, they gave us welcome drinks, a sign of pleasure for us.

After refreshing us, they showed us our room. We rented a family room; they even gave us additional mattresses to ensure everyone will have a space.
We hurried at the beach to feel the warm water and cold wind while Yammy Vicera, our photographer taking pictures of the place.

While waiting for our orders, we had an unlimited brewed coffee or kapeng barako, Batangeno’s best product.

After that tasty food, we swam for the last time and snorkel. Everybody knows I don’t know how to swim, so what do you expect? I was just 10meters away from shore line

We enjoyed our trip, it was a good stress manager for us.

I miss these people a lot, I’m hoping to see them again and have another trip like this
