How to get to Anawangin Cove via Mt. Pundauit?
1. Ride a bus from Caloocan Victory Liner Bus to San Antonio, Zambales. Fare is P260/head. Travel time is 3-4 hours. Make sure to eat lunch/brunch when you reach San Antonio.
Ride a tricycle to Pundauit. Fare is P30/head.
2. Get off at Pundauit Barangay Hall for registration it will cost P50/head. You can hire a tourguide for 700/5persons (this is optional). Make sure to request a boat to pick you in the morning to island hop to Capones Island. Boat rental fee is P1,500 with island tour, P1000 if pickup only.
3. Double check your things specially water and trek food.
4. Start of trek. If you are a pro, you’ll reach Anawangin cove in 2-3hrs. Since it’s our first time to climb, we completed our trail in 6hrs and 16mins. We reached campsite at 8:26pm.
